Mr. Santosh Kafle is an agriculture graduate from Agriculture and Forestry University, Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal by the year 2022. Currently, he is working as a full-time research intern in the research core facility at Gandaki Province Academy of Science and Technology. His duties at GPAST are to assist in the ongoing project lab viz., caffeine extraction from coffee, phytochemical analysis of different plant materials, and toxin assessment of plum fruits and products. He will also be diving into the world of Python coding for big data science. His areas of interest include plant protection, precision agriculture, metagenomics, biostatistics and data science. He has a sound knowledge of research and have published a couple of research papers in international journals. We believe that his research experience and dedication to the work will bring a positive result and help him succeed in the scientific field as a pioneer researcher.
