Mr. Ramakanta Lamichhane is a Ph.D. graduate with a specialization in Natural Product Chemistry from Wonkwang University, South Korea. He has done the isolation and identification of phytochemicals from plant sources and studied their biological activities in cell and animal models. He is interested in different kinds of research works related to diabetes and obesity. He is also interested in advocating/making people aware of diabetes at the community level.  Currently, he is associated with GPAST (Gandaki Province Academy of Science and Technology) as a Research Scientist and working on setting up a laboratory for research work in the future.
