Plant database

MNDRN is the initiative of Gandaki Province Academy of Science and Technology with an aim to provide free access to a wide array of digitized data about more than 200 commercially and medicinally significant flora of Gandaki Province. Developed using LARAVEL  framework, this database will provide informations like electronic herbarium profile, picture of specimen, photographs in natural habitat, physical characteristics, microscopic analysis of transverse section of sample, HPLC/TLC fingerprint, Chemical constituents, Method of analysis, Traditional uses, Pharmacological activities, DNA barcoding of medicinal plants and many more. Moreover, this database also enables enthusiasts to upload information about new plants and update other information, which will then be reviewed and uploaded after approval from the editorial board with due credit to contributors.
