This study aims to assess the research capacity of Gandaki province to understand its potential and plan future research activities for the relevant stakeholders. A questionnaire survey will be performed to generate ideas on the research patterns, funding mechanisms, networking, and involvement in research activities. Hence, the assessment will pave the way to identify the research barriers and help set priorities to create a better research environment in the province.
