Mr. Santosh Koirala is currently working as a research scientist and brings almost 20 years of chemical and biomolecular engineering knowledge to Gandaki Province Academy of Science and Technology. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2009 from Texas A&M University, College Station, USA. He continued his education and earned Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in 2015 from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. After graduation, he joined OSIsoft, a company that specializes in industrial software and provided consultation and support services to its customers. He has also served as a guest lecturer at Kathmandu University where he taught the Process Control and Instrumentation course. He is genuinely interested in molecular biology research, biotechnology, operational intelligence, digital transformation, project/program management, teaching and coaching.
